It is important to follow your own wishes and not the advice of others. This patient was unhappy with her appearance ever since she was young woman coming from Europe. Her husband thought improving ones appearance was vain and discouraged it for many years to change her large nose, small chin and aged appearance. After he died she fulfilled her life-long wish and underwent face, eyelid and chin implant surgery. Many people she says she looks like her own sister 20 years younger and much prettier.

The first surgery (Before) was done by someone else who left her with a large nose which looked even larger because her small chin was neglected. The face was not balanced and not as beautiful as it ultimately turned out after revision surgery (After).

This man's 15-year-old son was asked by his friends "if his father was his grandfather." After surgery they wanted to know if he was the son's younger uncle.

Aging is genetic and environmental. This is a 50-year-old Navajo Indian woman who looks very aged due to sun exposure, environmental factors and loss of bone support around the mouth due to poor dentition.
